Expat visas for several Gulf states are becoming more flexible and valid for longer periods, and Bahrain is about to follow suit! In addition to the right to work in Bahrain, unlimited entry and exit, and residency for family members, the Golden Residency Visa will be renewed indefinitely by the Interior Ministry.

Applicants must have a minimum salary of BHD 2,000 ($5,306) per month and have lived in Bahrain for a minimum of five years. Furthermore, those who own properties over a certain value, as well as retirees and "highly talented" individuals that meet specific criteria, will also be eligible.
