Al-Ettihad Airways canceled its previous decision and accredited 11 hospitals in Bahrain to conduct pre-travel COVID-19 tests. This went viral after being announced on the company’s official website and social media accounts.
The company retracted its previous decision, which was limited to adopting only one hospital in Bahrain to conduct a pre-travel COVID-19 test before traveling from Bahrain.
The company indicated on its website that it has approved the Bahrain Specialist Hospital, the American Mission Hospital, the Awali Hospital, Al-Kindy Specialist Hospital, the Royal Bahrain Hospital, Ibn Al-Nafees Hospital, the Middle East Hospital, Dr. Tariq Hospital, Noor Specialist Hospital, King Abdullah Medical City, Al-Salam Specialist Hospital, to perform Corona examinations.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ettihad Airways has previously announced on its official website that as of August 1, a COVID-19 PCR examination was mandatory before traveling with them from any international airport outside Abu Dhabi, and the examination must be performed at an accredited medical facility within 96 hours before your arrival in Abu Dhabi. The company stressed the necessity of taking the special test in Bahrain at a medical facility approved by “Pure Health”.
