London Luton Airport in Britain halted all flight operations late on Tuesday due to a fire that erupted in a vehicle within one of its multi-story parking structures, leading to a partial structural collapse.
The incident involved several vehicles in terminal car park 2, as reported by the Bedfordshire fire department, according to Reuters.
Smoke inhalation affected one member of the public and six firefighters, according to the East England Ambulance Service.
EasyJet, a British airline operating out of Luton airport, noted that airlines are presently encountering disruptions in their flight schedules
