Bahrain’s Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported that the Kingdom had conducted over 1.4 million Covid-19 PCR diagnostic tests. As of October 6, 2020, a total of 1,488,703 tests have been conducted.

Meanwhile, the Ministry announced that out of 10540 COVID-19 tests carried out on 5 October 2020, 454 new cases have been detected among 127 expatriate workers, 324 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel related. There were 458 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 67933.

There are currently 61 cases in a critical condition, and 116 cases receiving treatment. 4861 cases are stable out of a total of 4922 active cases.
