The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected 116 more new coronavirus cases today, bringing today’s total of active cases to 1,534.

Of this 116 cases, 109 are of expat workers, 6 are contacts of active cases and 1 travel related.

Health officials in Bahrain also confirmed 40 more recoveries from the COVID-19 coronavirus today, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 1,495 since the outbreak first began.

Currently, a total of 128,481 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 1,534, amongst which 1 patient is in critical condition. To date, 1,495  patients have been discharged and 8 deaths have been confirmed.
