42 Sub-Saharan Migrants Are Assisted By A Moroccan Royal Navy Unit

According to a military source, a Moroccan Royal Navy unit intercepted a pirogue carrying 42 Malian irregular migrants, 200 km southwest of Dakhla.
The source added that the pirogue in question set sail from Nouakchott in Mauritania on October 22, intending to travel to the Canary Islands.
Rescued individuals were transported safely to the port of Dkhila (200 km south of Dakhla). As part of the usual administrative process, they were handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie.
