An accident between five cars caused huge jams on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway towards Riffa, announced the Ministry of Interior.
The accident was caused by a reckless driver who lost control of the steering wheel due to exceeding speed limits. No injuries were reported in the accident.
The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that they initiated an investigation into the accident. “All road users to take alternative streets whenever possible until the return of traffic flow,”
