“A citizen was seriously injured as a result carelessness and not abiding by the rules,” revealed a member of the Northern Municipal Council Mohammed Al-Dosari. 

Al-Dosari referred to those who violate public safety laws and use JETSKI on the beach of Salman City despite instructions that prevent entry to boats and JETSKI to the beach. 

He explained that he had received many complaints from citizens and residents in the area about unacceptable behaviors practiced in this coast. He noted that some have removed the rock barriers placed by the municipalities that prevent cars or boats from entering the coast. This, he noted, caused individuals and families to feel insecure and parents worry about the recurrence of accidents. 

Al-Dosari called for a quick solution to the problem that increased with the entry of the summer especially, he assured, the coast was the only entertainment place for the city’s residents.

Al-Dosari also called for changing the easy-to-remove rock barriers with iron barriers, and setting up signs that clarify what is prohibited in this coast. 

He stressed that contact has been made with the concerned authorities to rehabilitate the barrier, and contacted the Coast Guard Department to follow up on these violations.
