A Bangladeshi man who was sentenced in absentia for kidnapping and human trafficking was arrested when he objected to his sentence, it has emerged, writes Reem Al Daaysi. The 31-year-old was put on trial at the High Criminal Court for abducting an Indonesian housemaid, holding her captive in his apartment in Gudaibiya and forcing her into prostitution .
