The Royal Command, Staff, and National Defense College hosted a lecture on the military career of Prophet Mohammed's Companion, Khalid ibn Al Waleed, May Allah be pleased with him, under the auspices of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF). Dr. Roy Casagranda, a political science professor at Austin Community College, presented the lecture.
The BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Noaimi, was also present.
BDF chief praised Dr. Roy Casagranda's valuable lecture, noting that it included details about the superior military capability displayed by Companion and military commander, Khalid bin Al Waleed, in the Islamic battles and conquests he led and participated in.
As his military plans and methods have been taught throughout history, the lecture shed light on the combat tactics and military command strategies of Khalid ibn Al Waleed.
Additionally, the commander-in-chief praised Roy Casagranda's studies in politics, economics, psychology, and philosophy, in addition to his scientific and academic career.
