An Asian was seriously injured in a traffic accident while walking in a mall’s parking lots. This went viral and received many comments on social media. It was also announced by the Ministry of Interior through its official social media accounts. 

The preliminary details of the accident, which occurred in Juffair yesterday night, indicated that a Bahraini youth did not see the Asian due to lack of attention and adherence to traffic regulations. The driver hit the Asian very hard which caused him severe injuries who was walking. The Asiam was immediately transferred to the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) to receive the necessary treatment. 

The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that they initiated an investigation into the accident.
