Samuel Warburg, Regional Spokesman for the US State Department, highlighted the unique opportunity provided by hosting the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain to engage in discussions on matters related to regional security and stability.
In an interview with BNA, he commended Bahrain for organizing the 19th edition of the Manama Dialogue and specifically praised the speech delivered by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasized the importance of focusing on regional stability, particularly addressing the current situation in the Gaza strip.
Warburg also expressed admiration for the robust bilateral relations between Bahrain and the United States. Referring to recently signed agreements, he noted the deepening cooperation and elevated relations, underscoring Bahrain's pivotal role in stabilizing the region and hosting the Fifth Fleet.
Highlighting the significance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) signed during the visit of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Warburg stated that it sets the course for future cooperation between the two parties.
