Bahrain’s Flag Hoisted On WCO Headquarters In Brussels

The flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain has been officially hoisted on the headquarters of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) in Brussels, Belgium.
The flag-hoisting followed the appointment of Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalifa as WCO Chairman, an honour which will remain engraved in Bahrain’s historical annals.

The appointment builds on other landmark achievements for Bahrain Customs, on both the local and international levels, heralding a new phase for customs to play an influential role in the global economy.
