Bahrain Announces 667 New COVID-19 Cases On January 2

Out of 20511 COVID-19 tests carried out on 2 January 2022, 667 new cases have been detected among 190 expatriate workers, 380 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 97 are travel related. There were 179 recoveries from COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 277680. One death has also been reported.
There are currently 4269 active COVID19 cases, and all are stable. Presently no individuals are in critical condition.
