Bahrain Attends Peace Agreement Signing Ceremony

Delegated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League and Charge d’Affaires in Bahrain’s Embassy in Kartoum Rabia Abdulla Saad Rabia, attendrf the signing of the peace agreement between the Sudanese Government a number of armed movements that took place today in the city of Juba in the Republic of South Sudan.


This  followed an invitation which was addressed to HM the King from the President of the Republic of South Sudan General Salva Kiir Mayardit.


The signing ceremony was also attended by Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan, Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, head of African states, representatives of Arab and foreign countries, the United Nations, the Arab League, the African Union and the representatives of the armed movements.


Al-Jowder took pride in the royal assignment to attend the signing ceremony on behalf of HM the King, stressing the importance of the deal which will contribute to consolidating efforts to achieve peace, stability and prosperity in the Republic of Sudan.


He praised the efforts exerted by the Republic of South Sudan to boker the import deal which will contribute to meeting the aspirations of the Sudanese people in security and stability. He wished the people of Sudan further progress and prosperity.
