At the press conference of the National Medical Team to Address Coronavirus (Covid-19) held today, authorities have called on the public to continue to commit to Bahrain for an additional two weeks, until the fourteenth of this October.

Authorities stated that it is clear that the increase in existing cases is related to the events and gatherings that accompany them.

They emphasised that it is important to stay away from gatherings on various occasions to limit the spread of the virus, in addition to continuing to wear masks outside the home at all times, and not to go out except for living necessities, taking into account the social distancing standards.

Authorities also warned that there are a number of legal measures that will be taken with those who violate the instructions issued by the National Medical Team and the concerned authorities .
