Bahrain Detects 246 New Cases On October 17

Out of 8,143 COVID-19 tests carried out yesterday, 246 new cases have been detected among which 60 are expatriate workers, 183 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 3 are travel related. There were 420 recoveries from COVID-19, increasing total recoveries to 73,841.
There are currently 46 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 79 cases receiving treatment. 3,391 cases are stable out of a total of 3,437 active cases.
