Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, the Labour Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), led Bahrain's delegation at the commencement of the Global Labour Market Conference (GLMC) at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre in Riyadh.

Nibras Mohammed Talib, CEO of LMRA, and representatives from relevant authorities in Bahrain participated in the two-day conference. The event was attended by Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi, the Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, along with ministers responsible for labor, economy, and finance from G20 countries. Additionally, representatives from specialized international organizations, researchers, academics, and policymakers were in attendance.

Minister Humaidan stated that Bahrain's participation in the GLMC demonstrates its commitment to learning from other countries' labor market experiences and exchanging expertise. He emphasized that the conference serves as a platform to showcase the best global practices in the field.

The Labour Minister highlighted Bahrain's pioneering experience in labor market development, attributing its success to effective policies that have contributed to significant growth, stability, and the attraction of investments generating job opportunities across various economic sectors.
