During the first session of the sixth Legislative Term, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the annual report of the Shura and Representatives councils.

At Al Sakhir Palace, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, presented the report.

As part of Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope, the Speaker, the First Deputy of the Shura, as well as the members of the two councils, expressed their condolences to HM the King for the loss of BDF servicemen as a result of the act of aggression while they were valiantly performing their duty defending Saudi Arabia's southern borders, within the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen.

The nation will always remember the heroic sacrifices of the BDF servicemen. In response, HM King Hamad expressed his gratitude for their sentiments, affirming pride in the legislative branch's efforts, achievements, and stances.

HM the King praised the Speakers' patriotic views and the aspirations of citizens, enhancing Bahrain's standing and reputation in international parliamentary forums. His Majesty the King applauded the cooperation between the executive and legislative branches aimed at serving Bahrain's development.

HM the King also commended the initiatives and proposals in the annual report. To meet the interests of citizens and create opportunities for them, HM the King said development will always be a priority.

The people of Bahrain have shown their loyalty and dedication to their nation on numerous occasions, standing together to support Bahrain. In all sectors, the King expressed pride in Bahraini men and women.

King Hamad noted that Bahrain has close ties and close cooperation with the rest of the world, which it wishes to strengthen and develop in order to serve its interests and growth. Thanks to HM the King's directives and support, the Speaker and First Deputy expressed gratitude for the legislative branch's accomplishments and contribution to further development.

Al Musallam expressed pride in presenting the annual report on His Majesty the King. In keeping with the comprehensive development process, he stressed that the royal directives of HM the King are top priorities for parliamentary and national action.
