At the Dubai Airshow 2023, the National Space Science Authority (NSSA), led by its CEO, Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, entered into an agreement with Kallman Worldwide, represented by its President and CEO, Thomas Kallman, at the Partnership USA Pavilion.
For the third consecutive time, Kallman has chosen Bahrain as one of the participating countries in Space Camp 2025 in Alabama, USA. This decision is based on NSSA's excellence and Bahrain's regional standing in education, coupled with the success of previous collaborations.
Dr. Al Aseeri expressed his satisfaction in signing this agreement, emphasizing its goal to position Bahrain among advanced nations in space sciences and the utilization of space technologies to drive comprehensive development and prosperity in the Kingdom.
Highlighting the significance of establishing collaborative ties in regional and international projects with space agencies, technical entities, and research organizations involved in space science, technology education, and STEM fields, Dr. Al Aseeri affirmed that this aligns with NSSA's strategic plan.
He emphasized that the agreement sets the stage for enhanced cooperation in the future, underscoring NSSA's commitment to advancing education and training in the space sector and its sciences. Dr. Al Aseeri believes this commitment will positively impact Bahrain's future, aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
