“Bahrain strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted a ceremony in the city of Kabul in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which resulted in the death and injury a number of people,” the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

 In a statement, the Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed its deep condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and reiterates the Kingdom's unequivocal position that rejects violence, extremism and terrorism in all its forms, calling for concerted efforts by the international community in order to eliminate terrorism and dry up its sources of funding,” the statement added.
