In collaboration with Bahrain TV, the Bahraini National Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People in Gaza will organize a telethon to support Palestinians in Gaza on Friday at 5pm (Bahrain Time).
This comes in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), to provide aid to the Palestinians in Gaza to help alleviate the dire conditions they are experiencing. In an effort to encourage citizens and residents to contribute to this humanitarian campaign, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, has called for citizens and residents.
Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General of RHF and Chief Executive of the National Committee for the Support of the Palestinians in Gaza, thanked His Majesty for his humanitarian efforts around the world.
In addition, Dr. Al Sayed expressed his gratitude to the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa was also thanked for setting up the National Committee for the Support of the Palestinians in Gaza, according to Dr. Al Sayed.
A number of national figures will speak during the telethon about the importance of supporting this national campaign that represents Bahrain's solidarity with Palestine.

During his speech, Al Sayed thanked the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs for supporting the campaign, in addition to praying for Al Quds, Gaza, and peace, as well as encouraging worshippers to donate to the campaign.
The RHF has liaised with the Ministry of Education to allow students of public and private schools to contribute and participate in this national humanitarian effort through creative individual initiatives under the ministry's supervision in response to the interest of many parents and students in contributing to the campaign in support of the Palestinian people.
