Bahrain Businessmen Association (BBA) Chairman Khalid Rashid Alzayani paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing royal support to the economic sector.

He made the statement after he was received along with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman at Al-Safriya Palace to congratulate HM the King on the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.

On behalf of the BBA board and members, he expressed unwavering support to HM the King’s initiatives for the sake of Bahrain’s vital interests and economic development, progress and prosperity.

He praised the royal directives to allocate a BD4.3 stimulus package and other initiatives aimed at support the national economy and business sector and mitigate the fallout of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Alzayani lauded the royal support to the trading, industrial and investment sectors,  in light of current local and global conditions, stressing the importance of revitalizing the private sector to continues its programmes and activities.

He underlined the royal call to harness all efforts to preserve national gains and double work to overcome the repercussions of the pandemic and support the national economy.
