Hunders of tonnes of fresh produce have arrived in Bahrain to bolster the local market and meet the demand for fruits and vegetables, it has emerged. According to the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) food wealth committee chairman Khalid Al Amin, the import of around 1,400 tonnes of fresh produce will help lower the prices significantly .
