On Thursday, the season's first Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights will light up the drag strip at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

BIC's world-class track, a member of the NHRA Worldwide Network of the U.S.-based National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), will allow participants to compete against each other in their very own cars and motorcycles.

As with BIC's Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights, Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag Nights begin with a rolling speed of 80kph, not a standstill.

It is therefore the ideal activity for bringing together speed enthusiasts and pushing their vehicles to the limit in a safe and controlled environment at BIC with the Kanoo Motors Rolling Drag.

Between 7 p.m. and 12 a.m. on Thursday, the event will take place.

Prior to participating in any BIC activity, cars and motorbikes must go through scrutineering to ensure everyone's safety.

For each driver or rider, the cost is BD22. A nominal entrance fee of BD2 is charged to spectators on the sidelines.

Besides the Rolling Drag, BIC's most adrenaline-pumping passenger ride, the Dragster Experience, is also available on Thursday night. While in the cockpit of a 10,500cc Top Dragster, fans will have the chance to experience pure speed as they go from zero to 100kph in just one second.

BD44 offers the Dragster Experience for the first passenger, with a 50% discount for the second passenger.
