His Highness Shaeikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met here with Lee Hsien Loong, Singapore's Prime Minister.

The two countries discussed their deep rooted relations and comprehensive partnership, and they explored avenues for their development to serve mutual interests, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM). In addition, they discussed a range of regional and international issues.

It was discussed between the two sides that opportunities for cooperation and development could be explored, particularly in economics, investment, education, advanced technology, digital commerce, renewable energy, sustainable solutions, food security, and climate action, among other strategic areas, which will lead to the creation of new opportunities in both countries aligned with their comprehensive and sustainable development plans.

Also discussed was the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference (COP28), which the UAE is hosting later this year. As a result of both nations' interest in environmental, climate, renewable energy, and sustainability matters, the conference will contribute to developing sustainable solutions that signify a significant shift in global climate action for the collective benefit of all people.

As a result of their close relationship with regional and international peace and stability, the two sides discussed the importance of promoting tolerance, coexistence, and dialogue. Their people will achieve progress, development, and sustainable prosperity if these values are upheld.
