“The King Fahad Causeway reopening will not be reopened tomorrow as rumored on social media,” announced the King Fahad Causeway Authority (KFCA) on its official social media accounts. 

The announcement came as the KFCA had to deny rumors that it would reopen the causeway tomorrow (June 10th) for certain cases went viral.

It is noteworthy that Head of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee in the parliament, Mohammed Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, has recently predicted that the causeway might be open soon in a press announcement.

His prediction depended on the fact that most GCC countries have taken decisions to reduce precautionary measures taken to limit the spread of the COVID-19.
