Manama, Sept. 10 (BNA): BDF Chief-of-Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al-Nuaimi chaired the Defense and National Security Committee meeting.

The meeting discussed ways to develop cooperation that would strengthen military and security services in the Kingdom, and enhance joint military capabilities in a way that will consolidate preserving security and stability in Bahrain.

Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan, National Guard Staff Director Major General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Major General Ghanim Ibrahim Al Fudhala, Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Operations, Royal Navy Forces Commander Commodore Mohammed Yousef Al-Asam, and a number of senior officers, were present.
