The Director-General of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPD), Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, received the President of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid.

The two sides discussed ways to enhance BIPA-AGU cooperation and effective partnership to implement a number of academic programmes, and to develop strategic plans and projects that would empower and train AGU administrative and academic staff, which would result in improved academic performance.

The AGU's honourable achievements over the past four decades were praised by Shaikha Rana, who affirmed the full support of BIPA for AGU's initiatives and projects.

It is the deep relation between AGU and BIPA, contributing to knowledge exchange and expertise in various fields, as well as providing the best training opportunities for AGU employees, that Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid spoke of.

The importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of research, training, and development was stressed by him.

In addition to exchanging expertise, AGU signed a memorandum of understanding with BIPA to strengthen their cooperation in the areas of training, consulting, human resources development, and academic studies.
