Major Mohammed Salem Mohammed Anber's body was received by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF).
Minister of Defence Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Theyan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi were present.
In the presence of BDF senior officers and the family of the fallen serviceman, a military ceremony was conducted at the Isa Air Base where the body arrived on board a Royal Bahraini Air Force aircraft.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, sent condolences to the family members in addition to those of Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the BDF.
He affirmed that the noble sacrifices of the brave servicemen will remain a source of pride for the nation, as they have lost their lives while valiantly fulfilling their national duties of supporting their brothers in arms in defending Saudi Arabia's southern borders as part of the Arab Coalition forces conducting Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope.
