Expat Workers Gathered Over Unpaid Wages

Dozens of migrant workers gathered at the Ministry of Labor this morning to claim their unpaid wages. This went viral.
According to the viral news, the number of workers was around 100 who work for a construction company and have not received their wages for eight months.
It is noteworthy that the same group took the streets and gathered two days ago near the entrance to the Nuwaidrat area, but security forces ended their protest by asking them to call it off.
It has been noticed that news about unpaid wages has become familiar these days where all are suffering what so called an “economic fallout” from the COVID-19 pandemic and rock-bottom oil prices.
