Minister of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning Esam Abdullah Khalaf issued edict to reduce and exempt fees for 234 Bahraini families living in rentals in June 2020.

The decision is based on the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, that aim to reduce the burdens of living conditions on citizens, and within the framework of the Cabinet’s decision to equate the fees of renting citizens with home owners.
