The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has revealed that Saudi Arabia is the sole nation to have submitted a bid to host the 2034 World Cup.
According to a statement referencing the regulations approved by the FIFA Council, the governing body for football announced that the international federation's management will initiate the selection process for hosting the 2030 and 2034 World Cup tournaments, along with an evaluation of the bid submissions. As a result, the host countries are expected to be officially announced during the FIFA conference scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024, as reported by SPA.
