Minister of Foreign Affairs,  Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met today at the headquarters of the Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary,  Péter Szijjártó, on the sidelines of the 76th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

During the meeting, the two Ministers reviewed the friendly relations between Bahrain and Hungary and ways to promote bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of developing these relations between the two countries, which are undergoing rapid growth in various fields.

They also discussed a number of topics and issues of common interest on the regional and international arenas.

The meeting was also attended by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York,  Ambassador Jamal Al-Ruwaie, and the Director General of Ministry Affairs,  Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam  Al-Ansari.
