“Humanitarian Rides” a charity transport project is now launched. A group of Bahrainis who initiated the project told Albilad Newspaper

They, who preferred not to reveal their name, added that the charity project was aimed to transport elderly, the differently-able people and chronic diseases to their daily medical appointments.

They noted that the non-profit project aimed to assist those who face difficulties in moving to their medical appointments.

“The project aims to assist all who are unable to go to their therapy sessions because of the lack of a car in general and dialysis patients, patients with heart diseases and diabetes in particular,”

They added that a special car that was designed and equipped to transport passengers was allocated to the project as well as a driver.
