With the Bavarians undefeated in the league, they now sit at 32 points, just one ahead of Bayer Leverkusen, who are scheduled to face mid-table Werder Bremen on Saturday. In contrast, Cologne, having only secured one victory in their 12 matches, remains anchored at the bottom of the table.
