His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has given instructions to host the Olympic Day on November 4.

The Bahrain Olympic Committee will be responsible for coordinating the Olympic Day, in response to the annual invitation from the International Olympic Committee, in collaboration with national sports federations.

His Highness emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of sports through a series of sports events designed to engage all segments of society.

HH Shaikh Khalid also acknowledged the success of previous editions of the Olympic Day and expressed gratitude to public and private institutions for their involvement in this year's event.

"The Olympic Day promotes healthy practices that contribute to physical and mental well-being, as well as sports ethics. Bahrain consistently celebrates the Olympic Day to uphold these principles and share them with society," HH Shaikh Khalid remarked.
