HH Shaikh Nasser Attends Riffa Views International School Graduation

On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Adviser and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, attended the graduation ceremony of the fifth batch of Riffa Views International School.

The ceremony was held for the 28 graduates in Arcapita Gardens in Bahrain Bay and was attended by school staff and relatives of the successful students.

HH Shaikh Nasser expressed pride in attending the graduation ceremony on behalf of HM the King who is always keen to support education and provide all means for students to acquire knowledge in ideal environments.

This is clear in HM the King's recent directives to all competent parties to stand with students to carry on with their education despite the coronavirus pandemic and encourage them to embrace alternatives for in-person classrooms, mainly remote learning, he added.

HH Shaikh Nasser congratulated the graduates, indicating that their achievement was a logical outcome of their assiduity and diligence throughout the academic year, their determination not to be affected by the global coronavirus-linked challenges and their parents’ keenness to stand beside them and to encourage them to enhance their knowledge.

HH Shaikh Nasser stressed the significance of the next stage in the students' lives as they select the specialization they want to study in the higher levels of their education and seek to fulfill their ambitions.

HH Shaikh Nasser praised the outstanding efforts exerted by the faculty of the school to ensure the success of the educational process and the achievements of the students.

The ceremony included the student procession, the Royal Anthem, a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and a speech on behalf of the students by Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman bin Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

Head of the School Tara Waudby delivered the opening remarks, followed by the speech of the faculty by Heather Meinen.

Danielle Pinkerton, the principal of the secondary school, presented the diplomas to the 28 graduates.

Board Chairman Atif Ahmed Abdulmalik expressed deep pride in HM the King's patronage of the 2020 graduation and his gratitude for the presence of HH Shaikh Nasser at the ceremony, which demonstrated his great support to students.
