In the presence of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), and His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee for Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club (REHC), and a member of SCYS, the first round of the third edition of the Bahrain Turf Series races took place today at the REHC racecourse in Raffa, Sakhir.

Their Highnesses, representatives from sponsors, and enthusiasts of equestrian sports were also in attendance.

The 10 rounds of the Bahrain Turf Series races, hosted by the REHC throughout the season, saw the participation of owners, trainers, and horses from various countries.

The organization of the Bahrain Turf Series follows the remarkable success of the two previous editions, as well as that of the Bahrain International Trophy, which has positioned Bahrain on the international horseracing map.

HH Shaikh Nasser, Captain of Team Victorious, received the Al Muharraq Cup trophy from John Chisholm, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Texel Air.
