Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, the newly appointed President of Arabian Gulf University (AGU), was received by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Majesty extended his best wishes to the AGU President for a successful tenure, encouraging the continuation of the university's pioneering journey and the development of its programs, curricula, and specialties.
King Hamad praised AGU for its role as a distinguished scientific and modern academic institution, emphasizing its significance in fostering cooperation between Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. He commended AGU's scientific and research contributions, recognizing its achievements and esteemed position among various prestigious Arab and international universities.
The King also acknowledged the efforts of AGU's former president, the late Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Ohali, in serving the university. His Majesty affirmed Bahrain's ongoing support for the university, emphasizing its role in nurturing generations that contribute to the progress and prosperity of the GCC countries through knowledge and qualifications.
