His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Safriya Palace, in the presence of Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa.

The Minister of Interior was accompanied by Southern Governor HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi, Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa and Northern Governor Ali bin Abd Al-Hussein Al-Asfoor.

They all congratulated HM the King on the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing him health and happiness and the Kingdom of Bahrain and its loyal people further progress and prosperity.

HM the King exchanged with them greetings on this occasion and thanked them for their prayers, wishing the people of Bahrain many happy returns.

He thanked the minister of interior and all affiliates, hailing the governorates’ contributions and initiatives to support national efforts to combat COVID-19 pandemic and coordinate with ministries and competent authorities to ensure compliance to precautionary measures.

He commended the governorates for spearheading development projects and community partnership initiatives to communicate with all social segments  and strengthen the values of loyalty and citizenship.

He stressed the importance of strengthening solidarity to enable the Kingdom of Bahrain overcome this exceptional phase, praying to Allah the Almighty to lift the pandemic off Bahrain and the world.
