Implementing Complete Electronic System On All Civil And Commercial Cases

Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, issued, based on the approval of the Supreme Judicial Council, edict 35/2020, approving the implementation of the complete electronic system on all civil and commercial cases in which the value of the claims do not exceed BD 1,000.
Accordingly, such cases will be handled electronically throughout the whole process, which will reduce court procedures and ensure fast-tracking the issuance of rulings.
