Six members of one family including two children were rescued in record time from a fire in their house. This was exclusively followed-up by Albilad Newspaper after being announced by the Ministry of Interior on its official social media accounts. 

The available details indicated that immediately after reporting the fire, that occurred this afternoon in Al-Beheer area in Riffa, the General Directorate of Civil Defense sent 5 vehicles and 17 officers and individuals who were able to safely bring out all the family members and put out the fire in record time.

Details added that the fire made huge damages to the house, but no injuries were recorded as the rescue team rescued all, while two of them were transferred to a hospital as a result of their suffocation. 

As for the reason of the fire, information indicated that the it was caused by a short circuit.

 The Ministry of the Interior assured that everything was under control and the necessary official procedures were taken by concerned authorities. 

It urged all to take maximum precautions in general and those regarding electricity connections and fire, to avoid dangerous incidents that might put souls in danger.
