Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, received here today the Director-General of the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Abdulla Khalil Buhejji, following his participation in and passing the second National Defence course, held at Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College between September, 2019, and June, 2020.

The minister congratulated BNA Director-General on passing the prestigious course, wishing him further success.

Al-Romaihi stressed the role played by the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College, and its advanced programmes, thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme  Commander, and directives to invest in the national competencies and develop their scientific and cognitive abilities.

The minister praised the importance of the continuity of such courses in which the Information Affairs Ministry’s officials take part, alongside the affiliates of the military and security corps, to exchange experiences, develop capacities, gain more strategic leadership and planning skills, as well as consolidate the national security concepts.

This embodies the Bahrain Defence Force’s dedicated efforts and participation in achieving the development and nation-building process across all sectors, Al-Romaihi said.

Abdulla Buhejji expressed thanks and appreciation to the Information Minister for providing him with an opportunity to participate in such an important course bringing together a distinguished group of officers from the Bahrain Defence Force, the Interior Ministry and the National Guard.
