The Director-General of Traffic, Brigadier Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa, credited the support of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for the eTraffic App's win of the best smartphone app at the eGovernment Excellence Award.

As part of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as well as the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance the digital transformation, he said that the support has contributed to the ongoing development of traffic information technology services.

To provide better services for citizens and residents, the General Directorate continues to support the national digital transformation process as instructed by the Interior Minister in cooperation with the Information and eGovernment Authority.
