Key Changes To Law On Social Insurance Are Approved

Shura Council members yesterday approved amendments to the 1976 Social Insurance Law that would see family members being registered as company employees under the Social Insurance Organisation. It will now be referred to Parliament for a second review after Shura omitted ‘family members should be actual contributors to business’, saying that the clause given by MPs is complicated and difficult to determine .
