Tens of Asians marched in a line on Budaiya road today afternoon with Bahrain’s flag in the front. This went viral and reasons were not obvious until writing the story. 

Comments predicted that they were migrant workers on a protest to claim their unpaid wages. 

According to the viral news, the number of workers was around 60. 

It is noteworthy that dozens of migrant workers, who work for a company, gathered at the Ministry of Labor on 31 of May to claim their unpaid wages. In April, another group took the streets and gathered near the entrance to the Nuwaidrat area, but security forces ended their protest by asking them to call it off.

It has been noticed that news about unpaid wages has become familiar these days where all are suffering what so called an “economic fallout” from the COVID-19 pandemic and rock-bottom oil prices.
