The Bahrain Bourse (BHB), a licensed exchange regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, announced that in collaboration with the Central Bank of Bahrain, it will host the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) Annual Conference and Awards – MEIRA 2023: From ESG to Sustainable Capital Markets. It will be held at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, on November 13, 2023.
The MEIRA Annual Conference & Awards, held in 2023 with a theme of "From ESG to Sustainable Capital Markets," will be the premier Investor Relations (IR) event in the MENA region. As a dynamic convergence point for exchanges, listed companies, brokers, research analysts, IR advisory firms, and regional regulatory bodies, it emphasizes the importance of IR, transparency, and corporate governance.
An executive director of the Central Bank of Bahrain's Financial Institutions Supervision will deliver a keynote address at the conference, which includes a variety of discussions and panels. There will be local, regional, and global experts on high-level panels, including the 'CEO Plenary: Spotlight on GCC Market' which will include a distinguished group of CEOs, including Sh. Bahrain Bourse CEO Khalifa Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, Saudi Exchange CEO Mohammed Al-Rumaih, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange CEO Abdulla Alnuaimi, and Qatar Stock Exchange CEO AbdulAziz Al-Emadi.
