The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) is set to launch a national campaign as Bahrain battles to contain the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Themed “Together for the safety of Bahrain”, the initiative will be in direct coordination with the e-Volunteer platform, which reported over 30,000 volunteers so far.
The campaign follows directives from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Councilfor Women (SCW).
A media campaign will also be lauded to highlight the strenuous efforts undertaken by the National Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 media, awareness and educational course of action throughout its implementation to shed light on the great national efforts made by the national team responsible for fighting the disease, supported through films and video messages on social media platforms.

The campaign welcomes the participation and contributions of official, private and civil society institutions, in addition to individual who want to support the efforts aimed at reaching out to Bahraini families and meet their needs in kind (food / medical supplies, etc.), or by providing services and consultations that support families in adapting to the new conditions which require precautionary measures.
