NBB Launches ‘Tap & Go’ Payment

NBB has announced the activation of ‘Tap & Go’ contactless payment service across its point of sale (POS) terminals and cards. The launch comes as part of a collaboration by the bank with the Central Bank of Bahrain and Benefit, allowing NBB customers to make contactless payments at outlets across Bahrain using their Android-based smartphones and activated NBB credit, prepaid and debit cards on the BenefitPay e-wallet .
